I wish to thank each and every one of you in the Iowa Jurisdiction for allowing me to serve as your Leader and having the utmost confidence in my ability to lead you God's people. The road has not always been easy, but with the help of the Lord we have come this far by faith. As I continue to lead, and as you are lead, please pray for Mother Bassett and me. Down through the years I have worked untimely to build a great Jurisdiction with my wife right by my side, yet we both realize that time brings about a change. As I take thought and joy in knowing God has allowed me to be the longest reigning Bishop in the Jurisdiction, it humbles me, and makes me proud to know you all. I petition each of you to do your very best, to help build the Kingdom of God through fasting and praying, and being dedicated to the Grand Ole Church Of God In Christ. One thing I can assure you this is the greatest church in the world.
